You can help support your local chapter programs and services through a gift to your local Red Cross chapter.

Locally, ninety-one (.91) cents of every dollar spent by the American Red Cross, Northern Miami Valley Chapter is invested in humanitarian services and programs. From July 2008 - June 2009, the Northern Miami Valley Chapter provided the following services to Miami and Shelby counties:

 

 

·         The chapter provided emergency communication assistance for 416 local military families.

 

 

 

·         Our disaster team responded to 85 local disasters – serving a total of 268 people with shelter, clothing, counseling, food, and other support services.

 

 

 

·         Our health and safety programs trained 6,302 individuals with 1836 taking Red Cross water safety courses, and 162 students being certified in the Red Cross Babysitting training course.

 

In addition, the American Red Cross Northern Miami Valley also offers the community the chance to learn First Aid, CPR and other health and safety skills that will help keep you safe. We provide emergency communications for military families and offer assistance to those trying to locate family members during local and international disasters.
